這部片從兩個金門印象出發：一是爸爸的朋友告訴我，他們小時候在金門，砲彈來襲的時候，為了不被發現位置，只能燒香，用它微弱的光照路。二是想著爸爸會從金門的沙灘上帶回歷代漂上岸的碎瓷器。再製這些印象的過程，就好像把文物和歷史放進了玻璃櫃，是有距離的觀看。就像那些爸爸偶爾透露出的戰地童年往事，情緒隱藏其中，也不再說了，人生繼續。
Incense yields a little light and leads the way for the islanders to hide from bombing. Broken dishes time travel. Imaginations of a post-war island, Kinmen, from familial anecdotes.
